If you are looking for a waterfowl hunt that you will not forget North Dakota is your place. Most waterfowler’s dream of coming to the prairie pothole region of North Dakota to hunt the thousands and thousands of ducks, geese and swans that migrate through the region each year. This is a true “bucket list” hunt. Most all of our North Dakota waterfowl hunting is done on the areas numerous potholes as well as in dry field situations where your licensed North Dakota waterfowl hunting guide will have scouted the area prior to your arrival, to make sure there where birds want to be.

Our guided North Dakota duck hunts will take place on one of the many potholes the area has to offer. We will make sure that it is plum full of numerous species of diver ducks and puddle ducks for a fast action North Dakota guided duck hunt! In addition to our incredible North Dakota duck hunting, we also offer World Class field goose hunting over large decoy spreads of either real geese silhouettes, or full body goose decoys. The main species that we will target in the fields will be Canada geese and Mallards, however there should be ample opportunities to harvest gadwalls, widgeon, and possibly pintails. You will also be able to harvest Snow geese as well if that is more your style. And if the timing is right you may get a chance at speckle bellies as well.

This is fast becoming our most popular hunt. If a swan has been a dream hunt for you, we can make that happen, and over decoys non the less. Our North Dakota swan hunts will take place over water in a loafing pond. There may be an opportunity to harvest some diver ducks duck on this hunt but the swan will take top priority.

The cost for a standard non-resident North Dakota statewide license is $172. The cost for a tundra swan permit is $30.00 and applications need to be applied for in late July and early August annually.

This is an incredible North Dakota Swan Hunting Adventure. As stated above during the swan hunt, other species of waterfowl can and will be hunted as well, but harvesting your trophy Tundra swan is the first priority. On this North Dakota swan hunt it will take place over water, and will be a decoying type swan hunt. This package will allow for 3 hunt days, whether it is three mornings or three afternoons or a combo of them. If a swan is hit and a successful retrieve is not made the hunt will be over at that point so make your shot count!

To attain a North Dakota Tundra swan hunting license, each hunter needs to put in for a lottery tag in late July through early August before the upcoming season.  Up until this point everyone who has put in for the lottery has been successful and many years there are leftover tags available during the month of September if you miss the lottery deadline. for more information
